Print Drop: Tomato, Banana and Oranges
My shop is OPEN again, after almost 2 months of figuring out how to continue with my business, my art and my life. As a result of all this pondering, I am here today to release the first 3 giclée prints of my new series! Yaaaaaaaay. They now come framed, bigger, and with free (worldwide) shipping. I know, I turned pretty pro over summer.
Spanish fruit & Andalusian ceramics
These three fine art prints are the first of my upcoming series, inspired by the beauty and everyday life of southern Spain. For these three paintings specifically, I have focused on how simple things get extraordinary when you take the time to look at it. How bright and colourful things get in the Spanish sun. A banana from the Canaries on a beautiful Andalusian plate. A very red tomato on an Andalusian table - a table so common in Granada and surroundings you might almost not notice it anymore. Almost.
Prints
- I can finally offer giclée prints, and not only does that sound fancy because it's French, it's also museum quality, matte and beautiful
- We got ourselves worldwide shipping (gratis) and more sizes
- We'll have less waste, as the prints are printed per order and not randomly by yours truly
- Less time packaging/more time painting. I'll be David Hockney in no time. Or Van Gogh, he painted a lot. Seems a bit less desirable to become him though.
Upcoming Series La Prisa Mata
PS My upcoming series of artworks releases in a month or two and involves the original paintings of these prints. The series is called La Prisa Mata, and it's about the beauty of taking your time to appreciate the normal.
