Studio Endeavours of Feb 2025
Hi there,
How are you? Sorry I haven't been checking in with ya for a while, I was painting. I said 2025 would be the year I'd be painting more, and I'm afraid I might have taken myself a bit too seriously.
So here I am, taking the time to update you a bit on my studio endeavours. I don't think I'm completely sure what endeavour means, but I like the word and I like using it.
Okay, on to current affairs. Where to begin, where to begin? There're 25 paintings in the making, but luckily twelve of them are only 10 x 10 cm, so we're okay. Those wooden minis (official title from now on) are landscapes inspired by my paper play, and for the sake of efficient space management I will now show you a picture of both one of the minis and a paper play:
Next up, there are also PORTRAITS. I know you like those, because I sold two at my latest release. That's why I wrote portraits in caps, to draw your attention. Did it work? These portraits are a bit different because they come on (and in) what I call repurposed frames. Check it out:
To keep things cosy, I'd also very much like to introduce you to some of the four bigger panels that are up in my studio. Neon paint is being embraced, and these four are all about being freeeeee. There are probably some ugly stages ahead of us, but that's okay. We're ready, aren't we?
It's okay if you didn't read all this and just looked at the pictures, but as always, thank you for being here. Feel free to write me back if you have questions, or if you just want to share a little story of your own.
Love, Astrid ♥
